Nice Airport Management

Description:

Nice Airport Management, a brand name of Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur, provides advice and services in the field of training, assessments, audits, management contracts and concessions.

For over 50 years, Nice Côte d’Azur Airport has stood at the definitive gateway to the French Riviera and Italy’s Riviera dei Fiori, giving its staff the opportunity to develop renowned expertise and experience in the airport sector.

Nice Airport is France’s second largest and handles around 12 million passengers and 10,000 tons of freight every year. Cannes-Mandelieu, however, is solely dedicated to business travel and general aviation and is the second most important airport of its kind in France. Our group is also developing a business unit for General Aviation under the brand name of SKY VALET with the management and ownership of Gulf of Saint-Tropez airport and F.B.O activities in Paris Le Bourget, Spain and Portugal.

Nice Airport is also France’s No. 1 regional airport for low cost airlines and was also the first airport to open its runways to this type of operator (1996). Some 20 carriers connect Nice to the major cities of Europe and North Africa.

The airports of Nice and Cannes have received a number of international awards for their quality of service, efficiency and marketing.
These airports have also obtained triple certification: ISO 9001 V2000 (quality assurance), ISO 14001 (environmental) and ISO 18001 OHSAS (health and safety) and Airport Carbon Accreditation Level 3+ (First French airport to reach this level).

We also boast over 30 years experience in passing on our know-how outside our own airports through training, assessments, audits, management contracts and concessions.

In 2008, a new structure – Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur – was put in place, benefiting from a new 37-year concession. The remit of this company is to oversee the management of Nice and Cannes-Mandelieu airports. The capital is split between the AZZURRA Consortium including ATLANTIA Group, EDF Invest & Aeroporti di Roma (64%), the Nice Côte d’Azur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (25%), Provence, Alpes Côte d’Azur Region (5%),  the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis (5%) and the Alpes Maritimes Department (1%).
The statuses of this new company provide for the unlimited export of airport teams’ expertise anywhere in the world.

Consequently, a brand name of Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur was set up under the name Nice Airport Management with the aim of providing the highest level of advice and services.
