Egis Avia and Airport Consulting Vienna pool their expertise in airport activities
Egis Avia – one of the premier European companies fully dedicated to air transport – and Airport Consulting Vienna GmbH – an international airport consulting company – are entering into partnership through a cooperation agreement.
Both companies have a strong heritage in the airport field. Egis Avia has been delivering a comprehensive set of services to airports since 1969 ranging from consulting, engineering and turnkey solutions to operations through the creation of its dedicated subsidiary Egis Airport Operation. Airport Consulting Vienna is an internationally well known expert for the provision of airport commercial and marketing expertise such as development strategy, traffic forecasts, route development, business and financial planning.
Thanks to the complementarities and convergence of their portfolios, they are now developing new synergies to strengthen the management of airport projects either on the consulting or on the concessions activities. They will capitalise on their knowledge and the experience acquired to offer top-end quality support and services in the airport market.
This partnership has been formalised by the signature of a memorandum of cooperation, early June 2011.
