ULMER CONCEPT'S GROUP
The ULMER Concept Group is a holding company uniting
ULMER AERONAUTIQUE and Société des Plastiques Nobles.
These two companies share a single 6500 m² site situated at Paris (France), the owner of the holding company. The group employs around 70 staff in total.
ULMER AERONAUTIQUE
UUlmer Aéronautique has two specialties: physiological protection,
and airfield lighting for airport and heliport. The Group now has 70 years of
experience in these specialities, which means our customers can be assured
of authoritative know-how.
ULMER AERONAUTIQUE has two distinct activities in
the world of aeronautics:
In physiological protection, ULMER AERONAUTIQUE
carries out design, manufacturing and distribution
activities.
In airfield lighting for airport and heliport, ULMER
AERONAUTIQUE carries out design, investigation,
manufacturing and distribution activities:
• Approach lights above ground level and embedding
• Runway lights above ground level and embedding
• Taxi way lights above ground level and embedding
• Parking area lights above ground level and
embedding
• Other equipment (breakable masts, reflectoring
self-contained and portable lights wind-cone,
light panel, FAA sockets, cables and plugs).
In the field of airfield lighting, ULMER AERONAUTIQUE
is familiar with national contracts (with Aéroports De
Paris and the Chambers of Commerce and Industry
which manage French regional airports), as well as
with international contracts with their ever greater
demand for innovative and safety products.
This policy of international development is giving the
ULMER AERONAUTIQUE Group an ever greater presence
in professional trade shows worldwide.
ULMER AERONAUTIQUE was or will be represented in
Europe at the main professional get-togethers
• Le Bourget Air Show
• Inter Airport (Munich, Beijing, Dubai, Delhi)
DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING POLICIES
ULMER AERONAUTIQUE attaches prime importance to
the design and manufacture of its equipment in all its
specialities. For this reason these two activities are based
in France, on the premises of ULMER AERONAUTIQUE.
Design
In order to constantly improve satisfaction of exacting and
stringent customer demand, ULMER AERONAUTIQUE,
which allocates 15% of its turnover to Research &
development, develops its products within a Design
and Engineering Department and a Laboratory which
carry out innovation and adaptation work in all the
fields of physiological protection, and the fields of airport
and heliport runway lighting.
Distribution and sales policies
Furthermore, in order to sustain a sales policy based
on accurate satisfaction of customer demand, ULMER
AERONAUTIQUE adapts a competitive price policy
without ever sacrificing its quality, which means that
organisations such as les Aéroports de Paris retain their
trust in us year on year.
