Fixed ATC towers and control cabin : standard
and tailor-made TWIST fixed ATC towers and
control cabin are modular and turnkey ATC
systems perfectly suited to meet the needs
of medium-sized airports and airstrips.
• Mobile ATC tower
A mobile ATC tower is the suitable solution
for airport backup and emergency operations
in both military and civil sectors. Thanks
to such a system, air navigation safety may
be rapidly set up on any type of sites:
temporary operations on remote located,
underequipped or temporary runway or temporary
ATC facility shared by several airports
to ensure ATC services, Relief operations
(natural disaster, forest fire,…) or temporary
ATC tower on big events (sportive meetings,
aeronautic shows), ATC back-up on airport
where the main tower is damaged or tactical
operations (rapid relocation of the TMT
13500).

height, autonomy, ability to be transported.

The TMT 13500 provides an operational
height up to 13 meters for the controllers
settled down in the control cabin. This
characteristic extends the application scope
of a mobile system, until now limited to
7 meters high.
TMT 13500, transport mode
> transportable by air, road and sea
Designed to provide a minimal size in the
transport mode, the TMT 13500 when folded
down is 40 feet.
Suited for haulage, it is towed by a single
standard vehicle. The TMT 13500 is transportable by air in a
Hercules C130 and is transportable by shipping
(flat 40 feet).
> completely autonomous and self-contained
The TMT 13500 is a one and only system
equipped with its own power supply. It does not require any further lift equipment and
is fitted with a scissor platform of access to
the control cabin.
> rapid and flexible deployment
Tower deployment is realized in less than
2 hours by 2 people. After an operation, the
transport mode is recovered in less than 1
hour.
> high performance equipment
All equipment required to provide ATC services,
selected among the most competitive,
are set in the control cabin. Designed for
controller’s comfort, the control cabin may
accomodate up to three operators.
